ABOUT US

Who We Are

NTFP-EP Philippines (Non-Timber Forest Products – Exchange Programme Philippines) is a non-stock, non-profit organization and part of the regional NTFP-EP network working with forest-based communities across South and Southeast Asia.

We work alongside Indigenous Peoples and local communities to strengthen forest-based livelihoods, uphold rights, safeguard cultural knowledge and practices, and support community-led conservation.

Our work connects non-timber forest products (NTFPs), community-based enterprises, forest governance, policy advocacy, and Indigenous knowledge. Through partnerships, learning exchanges, and advocacy, we help bridge community priorities with wider conversations and decisions affecting forests and the people who depend on them.

We believe lasting conservation begins with recognizing Indigenous Peoples and local communities as rights-holders, knowledge holders, and leaders in caring for their forests and territories.
