NTFP-EP Philippines at NACF 2025

NTFP-EP Philippines facilitated the participation of 150+ exhibitors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including School of Living Traditions (SLTs), throughout the National Arts and Crafts Fair (NACF) 2025 at Megatrade Halls 1–3, SM Megamall. From ingress on October 22 to egress on October 29, our team handled flights, ground transport, accommodations, and daily meals to help partners arrive safe, set up on time, and head home smoothly. The fair operated 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., October 23–29, with free public admission, so getting the exhibitors ready each day mattered as much as moving boxes.

This year’s fair was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), with DTI regional/provincial offices, and supported by Senator Loren Legarda, whose long-standing advocacy underpins NACF’s visibility. Our role complemented the organizer’s exhibitor timetable (ingress/egress protocols, warehousing, and booth rules) with hands-on assistance so communities could focus on meeting buyers and telling the stories behind their crafts.

All groups we assisted are part of our ongoing Assistance for Filipino Artisans (AFA) project with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). We are grateful to the DTI-BMDPO team and to Sen. Loren Legarda for championing a fair where indigenous and community artisans can sell directly, meet buyers, and keep living traditions alive.
